Architectural improvements to the building include both an interior and exterior remodel of Building 70. The remodel includes a new 878-square-foot classroom space. The existing art gallery has been redesigned to better display student work and host future events to the general public.

The renovation also includes a new photographic darkroom and restroom.

The renovation provides CSU Monterey with upgraded classroom space and a modern art gallery to display works of art created by students, staff, and faculty. It offers an opportunity for the general public and the community for the campus to welcome them to witness contemporary creations of art.
