The Medical Towers at the Shadowglen facility, a new three-story freestanding medical office building, was designed and equipped to support multiple tenants across many medical disciplines.

H+sp architecture designed the Shell Building and all the tenant spaces, approximately 39,000 square feet, in order to service a rapidly growing rural market of over 46,000 people in and near Manor, TX, east of Austin, TX.

In response to Central Texas Healthcare’s demands for primary and specialty services in outlying markets, a hub of multi-disciplinary practices creates a one-stop shop for patients. Within this “One-Stop Shopping” model, providers join forces to create synergy, capitalizing on cross referrals.

The specialty clinics within the building include:

  • Urgent Care
  • Imaging Center
  • Wound Care
  • Cardiology
  • Pharmacy
  • Pain Management
  • Ear, Nose & Throat
  • Physical Therapy
  • Timeshare Suite

The care provided by these clinics is equal to what you would find in an urban market such as Austin, TX, as many of the services are satellites of larger practices located within that city. The provision of these health care services is intended to provide better access to services within a rural market, and to promote routine checkups and a healthier community.
