New Features Just Released
Use the DCD Magazine & DCD Archives to their Full Potential
Construction activity is still sluggish with
some segments showing some activity this summer. Your subscription to DCD is a
handy tool as it includes just about every type of project to use as a cost
model. Depending on where the market is opening up your DCD subscription is
there for you.
Following is User Tip #5 on getting the most of your DCD subscription and online
access to the DCD Archives.
New Feature: “Toggle Subdivisions” to expand/collapse subdivisions
After you have logged into the DCD Archives and selected an appropriate project
you will now notice that the projects now default to showing Division Totals
only. To view line items under the Building Divisions click at the top of the
“Toggle Subdivisions” to expand/collapse subdivisions
Clicking here will open up the Divisions and you will be able to view the line
item detail of the subdivisions. Click on it again the divisions collapse to
show the division total only. (Note: subdivision detail varies from project to

One of the most frequent requests of our subscribers was the ability to print
just the Division totals and not the Subdivision item detail. You can now select
how to print your cost report. Print Summary will result in just the Division
Totals. Print Details will result in the Division Total and the line items in
