Fashionable Yet Highly Functional Off Campus Student Housing is Taking Over… With a Vengeance
University of Maryland’s housing community gained a swank apartment complex thanks to the ultra-modern CA Student Living development/investment firm.

Beginning fall 2015, students of the University of Maryland in College Park can make a smooth transition from traditional dorm life to luxury style living in the new and exclusive Landmark student housing community. Formerly the site of the Maryland Book Exchange on Baltimore Avenue, Landmark is now home to 283 off campus residential units and contains up to 14,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Located directly across the street from the UMD campus as well as being adjacent to several stores and restaurants, Landmark offers residents the convenience of a short walk to class, various entertainment spots and the College Park metro station. Landmark gives students the independence to live in their own amenity-filled apartment complex that is also functional and efficient.

Landmark welcomes residents and guests alike with its chic Bright Silver Omega-Lite® panels manufactured and distributed by Laminators Incorporated, Hatfield, PA. Chesapeake Siding Contractors, Inc. of Elkridge, MD installed approximately 15,000 sq. ft. of the Omega-Lite ACM panels using Laminators Inc. Rout & Return installation system.

Landmark was designed and developed in partnership by CA Student Living of Chicago, IL (an affiliate of CA Ventures), Empire Realty Group, Inc. of Doraville, GA, and Zusin Development of Washington, DC. Also included in the project were architect Niles Bolton, Alexandra, VA and general contractor Clark Builders Group, Silver Spring, MD.

CA Student Living acquired the former Maryland Book Exchange site in February 2014 as they believed the location fit their goal of developing professional apartment complexes at large state schools that are of high-quality with modern furnishings and most importantly walking distance from campus.

Laminators Incorporated, a leading manufacturer for over 50 years, offers of a complete line of composite panels for the commercial construction and sign making industries in the United States and Canada. Please visit www.LaminatorsInc.com for more information.
