Manzana Products Co., Inc. is a historic local company that has been in Sebastopol over 80 years. Their company produces products from apple juice, apple sauce, apple cider vinegar and other specialty products for private label or store brands except for the North Coast product line that was started by the family in 1922.

When Manzana first approached Cary & Associates, they were in need of a new warehouse to store additional products. Due to a flood plane issue, there were several obstacles to overcome that would limit the size and height of the building. Cary & Associates began to research the area for the project and assemble a team to begin the Design/Build method. Utilizing a Design/Build approach allowed Cary to value engineer the building to save the owner money. The project was designed, engineered and completed as planned.

Cary & Associates believes that the Design/Build approach is the best avenue for both client and contractor. It allows all planning, specifying, designing, estimating and construction to be combined under a single source of responsibility to provide improved handling of solutions with significantly better value than other construction methods.

Pairing specific design professionals with each client provides a more stable platform and assures a successful outcome per Cary & Associates. With Manzana Products, this meant a well-designed warehouse with loading docks.

With 27 years in the industry, Bob Cary has used the Design/Build option combined with the strength of steel buildings to produce some beautiful buildings.
