The Ripley High School Event Center in Ripley, Mississippi was commissioned by the South Tippah County School District. The district serves approximately 2,665 students grades K-12 in North Mississippi. The 26,500-square-foot building houses a gymnasium along with the support functions of boys/girls home locker rooms with showers and laundry, four visiting team locker rooms for tournament play, restrooms, concession, coaches offices/showers, stage, green room, hospitality room, janitor/mechanical, and closet/storage.

The gymnasium was the programming focal point for the multi-purpose design. The building is designed to accommodate physical education classes, sports competitions, auditorium functions (a stage is included within the space), as well as community events. Specialty items include electronic scoreboard, kitchen facilities, moveable goals/fixed practice goals, custom logo/wordmark floor graphic, audio/video and security equipment.

Construction consists of a one story, insulated metal panel exterior with curtain wall framing and block base building. The interior features a wood gymnasium floor with fixed chair-back seating on three sides and a platform stage at the front. The building is easily accessible to the community and adjacent to the Ripley High School sports fields, and may be secured from the Academic facilities for after-school and community use. The new Ripley High School Event Center serves as a tremendous asset for the high school's physical fitness classes, athletic programs, theater and music programs, and to the community-at-large.
