Probst-Mason collaborated with The Hillier Group to develop schematic drawings for the design of the Fine Arts/ B&I Center and the Life Fitness Building of the Carroll Community College.
Probst-Mason continued the development of the designs through construction documents, continuing to work intimately with the college to ensure the integrity of the original schematic design.
The Life Fitness Building accommodates a gymnasium, physical testing, and fitness center in addition to office and classroom space. The gymnasium has a half-court basketball with electric goals, volleyball courts and badminton courts. The building's fitness center houses a state-of-the-art exercise center with a surround sound system, and video monitors.
The Fine Arts/Business & Industry Center promises to be an impressive addition to an already handsome campus. The growing college community will benefit from the two wings of the building. The building houses a 400-seat auditorium for musical and theatrical performances, an art gallery, music instruction, practice rooms and classrooms equipped with the latest technology for video/audio and Internet access for use by business and industry students. The jewel of the building is the two-story auditorium lobby linking the auditorium to the B&I Center and Music instruction, and to the main courtyard and Great Hall.
