The law offices of Smith, Haughey, Rice & Roegge began as a design/build project that culminated in a joint effort by the owner, contractor and architect.

Extensive programming and planning meetings produced a fresh and bright new appearance. The third floor underwent a complete renovation that started with the demolition of all existing vertical and horizontal surfaces.

Once the demolition was complete the renovation was fast and a calculated makeover of mechanical, electrical and architectural features was begun. All new ductwork and support services were added, including the most up-to-date building maintenance system. Electrical enhancements included new lighting, centralized controls and security. Architectural additions incorporated fabric wallcoverings, light toned paint and complimentary woodwork that blended with the existing construction linked to a beautiful oak staircase to the second floor.

The project included transferring the existing shelf style law library to a state-of-the-art High Density Filing System that contains both the library and current record documentation. A folding partition divides the lunchroom and meeting area and when retracted can accommodate in house seminars or conference meetings.

The Smith, Haughey, Rice & Roegge Law Offices never looked better, or contained a floor plan that produces the most efficient movement of people and information. C.D. Barnes Associates, Inc. is proud of this accomplishment and effort for a most appreciative client.
