Aransas Pass, a Texas Coastal Bend Community between Rock Port and Corpus Christi never had a public swimming pool complex nor swimming program in its public school system. This project was long overdue. 

The main criteria was durability and regional design in meeting the needs of a functional swimming facility that offered a unique layout and inviting water play toys. The greatest challenge was the master planned site selection which followed the edge of a wetland over half the perimeter with a requirement that the site height be 11-feet above sea level. This required an extension retaining wall system to be built and backfilled before construction could begin.

The Aransas Pass Swimming Pool Complex has become a center activity and civic pride for this small Coastal Bend community.
