The use of natural light was the architects main objective in the construction of this three-story bank building located at the crossroads of Cascade Road and Spaulding Avenue in Ada Township, Michigan. To meet this objective, careful consideration was given to the rolling terrain that allowed natural light through daylight windows on the lower level. 

The extensive use of translucent panel and curtainwall systems provides not only natural light, but one of the most beautiful views of the surrounding exterior landscape. A serpentine glass railing and curved monumental stair are the main features encountered when first entering the building. Exterior surfaces are highlighted with patterned brick veneer and aluminum plate pane systems. 

The interior is highlighted by rich cherry hardwood, porcelain tile and satin brass accents. Electrical and mechanical systems are state-of-the-art and require little owner maintenance involvement. 

The building was designed with friendly, welcoming features. The owner wanted the building to be inviting which is reflected by the open cafe style lobby. Founders Trust Personal Bank was designed for the future and built to last, resulting in another landmark to the area.
