Increase Your Efficiency with Bluebeam PDF Revu 7.0
New Version Just Released

In today’s market it is only logical for companies to look for ways to maximize their efficiency resulting in better profitability. One way companies can achieve greater efficiency and cut costs is to take a close look at routine procedures and evaluate new tools on the market that will save them money and increase their effectiveness.

Bluebeam Software, Inc. offers powerful PDF technology that allows electronic sharing of information. Bluebeam’s PDF program can be used to mark-up and edit plans during the design review process, submit RFIs, send out bid documents, perform on-screen take-offs for estimating and archive files resulting in great office efficiency.

Just released, Bluebeam PDF Revu 7.0 is the latest version of Bluebeam’s professional and affordable PDF solution. All enhancements have been requested by users and include more flexible options, faster document review, more mark up tools, and better PDF distribution.

Easy-To-Use New Enhancements
Version 7.0 of Bluebeam PDF Revu includes a Spell Check and PDF flags to make it easier to review PDF documents. The Spell Check feature identifies and suggests changes for misspelled words in markups, form fields and PDF content. Bluebeam’s exclusive PDF flag serves as a virtual sticky flag, placing visual markers on PDF’s to designate signature lines or other important content.

In just a few clicks, Revu 7.0’s new flexible options for PDF creation allow users to quickly create PDF’s from Microsoft® Word, Excel and Powerpoint files eliminating unnecessary steps when converting various images. In addition, users can now select from a list of hatch patterns in Revu to fill in markups or takeoffs, create and save custom hatches, and import AutoCAD.pat files into Revu. Users can now redline PDF drawings with the arc tool and create custom text stamps with the revised stamp editor. The measurement tool also incorporates curves technology for more accurate area, perimeter and volume calculations.

Better PDF Distribution
Bluebeam PDF Revu 7.0 provides new file sharing options to significantly reduce the need to print and ship documents. The Reduce File Size feature gives users more control over PDF compression by estimating the new file size and including an interface to adjust settings such as PDF version, image resolution and embedded fonts. Additionally, Bluebeam now supports PDF packages for organizing multiple files and file types into a single package for archiving or delivering document to clients.

“In order to be more competitive, business leaders require solutions that make their firms more efficient and sustainable,” said Richard Lee, President and CEO of Bluebeam Software. “Each new feature in 7.0 is designed to do just that – enable our customers to achieve real results – reduce printing and shipping costs by up to 80% and increase productivity by up to 60%.
