New College Residence Hall Selects BurkeMercer RubberMyte® To Stand The Test Of Time|
Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee waited a long time
for a new state-of-the-art residence hall for their students. The wait is now
about over with project completion in sight.
Tennessee Board of Regents selected the Joint Venture Team of Maffett- Stamps
pllc (Cookeville, Tenn.)/Bernard L. Weinstein & Associates (Nashville,
Tenn.) for the $13 million project. The joint venture team provided programming,
architectural-engineering design, interiors, landscape design, and construction
administration for the project.
The project will be completed in January 2004. The 92,680-square-foot residence
hall project will feature double occupancy rooms with private baths, a
multi-media room, a spacious grand lobby, three small study rooms, a large group
study room, two social lounges, two elevators, life safety features and will
comply with the American Disabilities Act.
