New College Residence Hall Selects BurkeMercer RubberMyte® To Stand The Test Of Time
Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee waited a long time for a new state-of-the-art residence hall for their students. The wait is now about over with project completion in sight.

The Tennessee Board of Regents selected the Joint Venture Team of Maffett- Stamps pllc (Cookeville, Tenn.)/Bernard L. Weinstein & Associates (Nashville, Tenn.) for the $13 million project. The joint venture team provided programming, architectural-engineering design, interiors, landscape design, and construction administration for the project.

The project will be completed in January 2004. The 92,680-square-foot residence hall project will feature double occupancy rooms with private baths, a multi-media room, a spacious grand lobby, three small study rooms, a large group study room, two social lounges, two elevators, life safety features and will comply with the American Disabilities Act.

BurkeMercer RubberMyte Wall Base provides decoration, protection, and an easy-to-clean junction between wall and floor. Ends are precision cut and a special contoured top and toe form a tight fit to the wall, floor, and seams. BurkeMercer RubberMyte Wall Base can be used in conjunction with carpet.

The Wall Base is available in 86 wall base colors, including the 25 Uni-Color System colors, and 61 additional colors that include the new 30 Vibrant Collection colors that match the entire line of BurkeMercer Flooring Products that include Tile, Stair Treads, Mouldings and accessory products.
